In line with the Cape Dutch style and architecture, a ‘koffiehuis’ traditionally is a place to gather and enjoy freshly ground coffee, expertly prepared by a barista.
Coffee With Character
We serve 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified beans, roasted just across town and brewed to your preference. Strong, smooth and sustainably sourced, it’s coffee with a conscience. If you prefer something else, there’s a wide choice of teas, red espresso, matcha, chai, fresh-pressed juices or Honest hot chocolate – made with organic Tanzanian cacao in small batches in Woodstock.

Behind the counter, our barista brings more than expert skills. Known for his easy smile and generous nature, he knows how to transform a quick coffee stop into something memorable. Whether you order a flat white, double espresso, mocha, or something with a touch of vanilla, every cup is poured with precision - and often, a personal story to go with it.
A High Tea to Celebrate
Our high tea invites guests to linger, and enjoy the terrace and garden views. Bookings are essential. On the tiered trays you’ll find an assortment of handcrafted pastries, savoury canapés, and exquisite cakes from our on-site pastry kitchen. Expect refined flavours and a touch of indulgence: caramel custard cake with its golden glaze, feather-light sponge layered with fruit cream, or the richly satisfying Basque cheesecake that is gently torched, silky at the centre, and unforgettable to the last bite.
